Our luxury Vienna Hotel is part of the city like the Opera House, the Prater ferry wheel, the Fiaker horse carriages and the Lipizzaner horses. The Sacher, as the Viennese call it, is a 5 star Vienna hotel that combines contemporary Viennese comfort and luxury with the charm and feel of the old Habsburg monarchy. The Hotel Sacher Wien was opened in 1876 by Eduard Sacher, son of the creator of the Original Sacher-Torte, and soon achieved worldwide renown as a meeting place for the nobility as well as for prominent politicians and artists.

The Hotel is located next to the pedestrian zone Kärntner Straße in the heart of the city, directly across from the Vienna State Opera and just a short walk away from the elegant Ringstraße, St.Stephan’s Cathedral, and the Hofburg Imperial Palace.
